Description
Patient, 57 years old, with sciatica.
Her beloved cat (like a family member) was diagnosed with a short life expectancy. The patient's husband went on vacation for a week. The patient had sole responsibility for the cat. When should the decision to euthanize him be made?
She made the decision on Saturday. Her husband returned on Sunday, and that evening the sciatica started = partial solution.
The next day the cat was euthanized (final solution). At night, the sciatica was so severe that the patient could barely sleep. Despite ibuprofen and body therapy, the sciatica lasted exactly one week – the same length as the overwhelm conflict with the cat.
